One

So the day has come, my friend Jess has convinced me to finally make a blog. This is something that I have been talking about for the past few months. She is extremely wonderful and mega adorable so I thought I might as well join this delightful blog community that Hamilton has got going on, scratch that the world has got going on.

So this is it, the first awkward introduction blog! Not going to lie, cringing would be an understatement; I have no idea how to start this off and I feel incredibly self-conscious. But as I've labeled it an 'introduction blog' I should most likely introduce myself, but I’m hopeless at those kinds of things. I never really know what to say, and let’s face it, who really likes talking about themselves all the time... I guess I could name a few people who do off the top of my head, but I must confess I am not one of those people.

So here is the brief on me, I'm Alyson and I am a person who loves sharing stories and I adore exploring. My father would say I have an 'old soul' and I think on reflection I agree with that. I’m happy in my little city with my little family sending postcards to far away places, making my own clothing, and exploring the histories that are (most times) right in front of our faces. So stick with me and you are bound to see some interesting places, things, and people.

Okay enough of that on to the photos of my cats...

  1. Welcome to the blogging world! It's always good to have a little niche of your own in cyberspace. In time you'll find it therapeutic as well when things get crazy! Love your cats and love the photo of you and the boy. Bookmarked you already! Loves xx
